The coordinating Institution of DEVELOP is Trinity College Dublin, the University of Dublin (The Provost, Fellows and Scholars of the College of the Holy and Undivided Trinity of Queen Elizabeth near Dublin), Ireland’s leading university. Since its foundation in 1592, it enjoys an esteemed reputation in research and innovation with an outstanding record of publications in high-impact journals, and a track in winning research funding. The school of Computer Science and Statistics at Trinity College Dublin, represented by the Learnovate Centre, will lead DEVELOP. It is one of the largest computer science departments in Ireland and the UK, and is ranked in the top 100 in the QS World University Rankings 2015. The Learnovate Centre team of over 20 researchers and developers will coordinate the consortium. They will lead the project management as well as the design and development of the personalized learning environment.
